Description:	This lesson plan is part of the DiscoverySchool.com lesson plan library for grades 6-8. It focuses on the advent of Space Shuttle missions from 1981 to 1986. Students research facts about each of the 25 missions that occurred during this time period, finding out what each mission objective was. They also look at the Challenger incident and what went wrong with that mission.
