This software on Transmutation of Radioactive Waste is a project of the NEA Data Bank of the OECD, in the framework of the OMEGA program on Partitioning and Transmutation. Basically, the purpose of this software is twofold: - To keep track of WWW servers that provide information on transmutation via the Internet. Presently, there are more research institutes involved in transmutation than there are WWW servers that actually provide this info through the Web. - Considering the rapid growth of the Internet community, we expect that more institutes will present their work in this way. Please notify me if you know new relevant WWW sources that have become available. - To give the reader easy access to written material on transmutation. In some cases, ASCII, LateX or postscript files of reports, articles, etc., are already available and these can easily be transferred to the public. All that needs to be done is to provide a HTTP-link to such files. Unfortunately, a lot of older material (proceedings, etc.) exists in paper form only.
