| Description: | AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) holds four competitions for students to design, build, and deploy autonomous unmanned systems. Specifically, competitions are available for aerial, ground, underwater, and surface vehicles. The common denominator in these four events is that the systems must be autonomous, meaning that they must be programmed to sense and act according to their surroundings, as opposed to being controlled with remotes and/or operators. |
