| Description: | Provided by TERC; the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado Boulder; the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); the Science Education Resource Center (SERC) at Carleton College; and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) The Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network (CLEAN) Pathway (awarded January 2010), is building on the efforts of the Climate Literacy Network and the establishment of the Climate Literacy: Essential Principles of Climate Science to steward a broad collection of educational resources that facilitate students, teachers, and citizens becoming climate literate and informed about climate issues; support and outreach to these developing communities of users; and the integration of a CLEAN Strand Map with the NSDL Science Literacy Map. The collection will focus on integrating effective use of the resources across all educational levels - especially middle-school through undergraduate levels (grades 6-16). |
