| Description: | This courseware provides DSP hands-on laboratory experiences over the internet. The Java- Digital Signal Processing (J-DSP) editor is an Internet based signal processing laboratory that provides hands-on learning experiences in distributed learning environments. J-DSP resides in the World Wide Web and you can use it from wherever you can access the Internet, without the need for prior installation. J-DSP has been developed at Arizona State University (ASU) under the guidance of Prof. A. Spanias and is intended to be used as a virtual laboratory in a senior-level DSP course. It offers a wide range of signal processing functions that are represented in the form of blocks. By connecting various blocks together the user can create a DSP system simulation that is executed automatically and returns results in almost real time. Similar to other engineering simulation tools, the J-DSP editor moves one step ahead allowing the user free use, from virtually every place with an Internet connection. http://www.eas.asu.edu/~midle/jdsp/ |
