| Description: | This software teaches the user concepts about underwater acoustics and medical ultrasonic. The Underwater Acoustics and Medical Ultrasonic Group is actively involved in a wide range of fundamental and applied research relating to acoustics and ultrasonic. The research includes work on acoustic propagation, the acoustic properties of materials, ultrasonic imaging, acoustic scattering and marine remote sensing. The group has a strong research base in the area of nonlinear propagation and a large proportion of the work is related to nonlinear acoustics and its applications. The group has developed a reputation for the quality and detailed nature of its experimental measurements. Most of the work is laboratory based, although sea based trials are performed as necessary. Many projects also involve the use of numerical modeling techniques. This courseware was originally cataloged at http://www.my-edu2.com/eduframe.htm. |
