| Description: | The primary targets of this work are two courses. The first is a four-week summer course, during the first two weeks, we train in- and pre-service teachers on how to use HP tablets equipped with GIS and modeling software to conduct scientific investigations. The second course is an introductory science course for elementary teachers in which they will use the HP tablets to investigate the ecological and economic value of urban trees. |
